Job description

Make a direct and immediate impact supporting students in K–12 settings by applying your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Paraprofessional. You'll work within school settings, supporting children and adolescents as they develop essential academic and life skills. Each shift allows you to empower students, collaborate with educators, and grow your professional skillset within a tight-knit school community.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Illinois Paraprofessional Educator License (IL PEL - Paraprofessional) required
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential highly preferred
  • Proven experience in a school or educational setting working with children ages K–12
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to implement behavior intervention plans under supervision
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Provide direct 1:1 or group behavioral support to students as outlined in intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
  • Assist students with academic, social, and behavioral goals
  • Collect and document data on student progress
  • Support classroom safety and positive behavioral outcomes
  • Adapt to evolving classroom needs with professionalism and compassion
