JOB SUMMARY
  • Is a full member of the healthcare team who provides for the pastoral needs of patients, families/friends, to understand more fully life's events as they relate to their spiritual and emotional well-being.
    As a full member of the health care team, the Chaplain would:
    * Regularly visit patients while giving priority to those of greatest need.
    * Provide for the pastoral needs of patients, families/friends (and sometimes members of the health care team.
    *Model compassion, flexibility and the ability to deal with crisis and show sensitivity to illness, loss, suffering, death.
    *Work day shift hours with shared responsibility for flex, on call, weekend and holiday rotations.
