Schedule
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Occasional overtime and weekend work as needed.

The Role
As a Plant / General Laborer, you'll help keep our compost manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently. You'll perform a variety of hands-on tasks that support production, equipment operators, and site operations.

What You'll Do
  • Perform site cleanup and general labor duties throughout the facility
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials
  • Support Heavy Equipment Operators and Maintenance Technicians
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Assist with inspections, housekeeping, and routine operational tasks
  • Work safely around equipment, vehicles, and industrial machinery
  • Help ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the site

Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in general labor, warehouse, manufacturing, landscaping, construction, industrial, or outdoor work preferred
  • Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong attendance and dependability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions
  • Comfortable working around dust, dirt, mud, odors, noise, and moving equipment
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, steel-toe footwear, and respiratory protection when required
