Job description

Patient Transporter - Day Shift

Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of $3,000. (This bonus comes with a 1yr service agreement) These roles focus on assisting patients and their families with hospitality, logistical, and support needs. These roles are essential for ensuring a smooth and efficient healthcare experience. These positions provide safe transport of the right patient to the right location while maintaining a high level of productivity. Responsible for patient transports, distributing equipment and supplies, morgue duties and managing supplies for transports. Individual contributors who provide support to an organization, often in direct service, operational, technical or administrative functions. Spends majority of time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are typically limited without additional education or significant training and experience. Entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior experience. Work is routine and follows standard procedures. Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are routine with clearly defined solutions. Communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Experience: No experience required. Licensure: None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The starting base rate for this role is $16.50 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
