Electro-Optical Assembler (Full-Time and Part-Time Roles)

Pay: $20 - $26 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (full-time or part-time positions available within these hours)


About Us:
We are a local, small business specializing in electro-optical technology. We are seeking dependable Production Technicians to join our electronics manufacturing and assembly team. In this hands-on role, you will support the assembly, repair, and testing of electronic and electro-optical components and sub-assemblies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and repair electronic and electro-optical components and sub-assemblies
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Follow production schedules and complete assigned tasks on time
  • Report defective materials or issues to supervisor
  • Collect data and compile production and quality reports
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment or machinery issues
  • Cross-train in multiple assembly tasks to support team needs
  • Perform other duties as needed to meet quality and output goals
  • Support small batch production and general production line operations


Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus
  • Mechanically inclined with ability to use common hand tools and basic production equipment
  • Ability to work at a steady pace at a bench station
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow written instructions and verbal directions accurately
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Teamwork skills and reliability (consistent attendance, punctuality)
  • Willingness to learn new tools, machines, or processes quickly

Preferred Experience (a plus, not required):

  • Basic soldering skills (surface mount & through-hole)
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment (multimeters, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic and mechanical schematics
  • Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)

  • Hands-on soldering skills test for candidates with previous soldering experience
