Large Motor Mechanic
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Shift: (day shift) Monday - Friday; 6am - 4pm OR (night shift) Monday - Friday; 2pm - 12am
Type: Direct Hire
About the Company:
Our client is one of the largest independently owned motor and pump shops in the U.S. that focuses on rebuilding and remanufacturing rotating electrical and mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Disassembly and reassembly of motors, pumps, and generators
- Troubleshoot oil leaks, vibration problems, etc.
- Perform test runs on rebuilt motors.
- Miscellaneous mechanical tasks as needed.
