Your role at Clorox:
The purpose of this position is to provide in the shift guidance and perform all day-to-day activities, with focus on raw materials and finished goods handling, to achieve the department and business objectives. Day-to-day general direction is provided by the Distribution Coordinator.
Pay Rate: $30.83/hr
Work Hours: 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
In this role, you will:
  • Coordinate daily work floor activities.
  • Plan and schedule the efficient operation of the loading dock.
  • Lead Distribution Department safety effort in support of plant performance goals.
  • Coordinate training and development activities.
  • Lead daily start of shift and end of department meetings.
  • Offload and manage bulk material inventory (soybean oil, vinegar, etc.).
  • Manage material flows to provide efficient operations.
  • Interface with supply vendors and the on-site dedicated fleet to service the department.
  • Lead timely problem resolution efforts.
  • Participate in quality audits as needed.
  • Support and troubleshoot palletizer machine performance.
  • Manage on-site recyclables and order pick-ups as needed.
  • Initiate timely communication flow through the organization.
  • Drive department improvement initiatives consistent with the plant strategy.
  • Perform any assigned duties that fall within the scope of this job as defined by management
