Job description

Speedie Recovery of South Florida, Inc. is hiring a dependable Camera Car / License Plate Recognition (LPR) Driver for the Port Charlotte area.
This position is primarily daytime driving using a company-provided camera car equipped with license plate recognition equipment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive assigned areas throughout Port Charlotte and surrounding areas
  • Operate an LPR camera vehicle to scan license plates
  • Follow assigned routes and areas consistently
  • Immediately report confirmed vehicle hits according to company procedures
  • Communicate with dispatch and recovery agents throughout the shift
  • Keep the company vehicle clean and properly maintained
  • Report any vehicle, camera, or equipment problems immediately
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Maintain professional and safe driving at all times
IMPORTANT
This is NOT a repossession agent position.

You will not repossess or tow vehicles. Your job is to locate and identify vehicles using our LPR camera system and provide that information to our recovery team.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean and acceptable driving record
  • Must be dependable and punctual
  • Comfortable driving for extended periods
  • Must be able to work day shifts
  • Must be comfortable working independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Must follow assigned routes and company procedures
