Job description

We are currently hiring an Wash Rack Operator to work at ourBuchanan Landfill Facility in Midland, TX. In this job, you will be working outside in all weather conditions.This is a local job with no travel and no per diem.We offer family benefits, 401k, and paid vacation.

Pay Range: $19-$21/hr.

Schedule:

  • Day Shift position working a 7 Days On 7 Days Off Schedule. We also have NIGHT SHIFT!

  • The working hours are 7 am to 7 pm for Day Shift and 7 pm to 7 am for Night Shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary job is to wash the inside of vacuum trucks, equipments, vehicles, or machineryusing specialized washing systems and tools

  • Occasional labor work with shovel and picks up trash around facility

  • Occasional housekeeping around facility (painting/ lawn work)

  • Use and maintain required PPE in accordance with company policies and procedures

  • Work effectively as part of a team and support other operations as needed

  • Safely work in varying outdoor weather conditions

Qualifications:

  • Ability to learn and operate site-specific equipment independently

  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
