Job description

OOIDA is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Truck Insurance Sales Agent to help independent owner-operators and trucking businesses find insurance solutions that protect their livelihood. If you are passionate about sales, enjoy building relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

As a Truck Insurance Sales Agent, you will educate prospective and existing OOIDA members on insurance products, develop new business opportunities, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate is patient, detail-oriented, and committed to helping customers make informed insurance decisions. *This is an hourly non-commissioned sales position.

    Responsibilities

    • Responds to referrals, prospects and members quickly and effectively
    • Pre-qualifies insurance prospects for insurability and quality of risk
    • Designs insurance plans and recommends coverages to clients

    Required

    • Property & Casualty Insurance License
    • One-year insurance industry experience

    Helpful

    • Knowledge of AS400 and Content Manager
    • Knowledge of the trucking industry
