Job description

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a Part-Time (24 hour/week) night shift Registered Nurse. May need to orient on day shift at times.

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital's level III NICU offers 24-hour staffing from highly experienced, board-certified neonatologists and specially trained and certified nurses, dedicated to neonatal intensive care. Our 19 private rooms have the supplies and equipment to perform all the necessary care. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:3.

RN NICU Qualifications:

  • Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, 1 year of specialty RN experience if required by unit
  • Certification - Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required at hire

  • Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
  • Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

RN NICU preferred qualification:

  • 2 or more years of NICU nursing experience
