Job description

Position: Full-Time Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) for DAY shift; 7A-7P
Location: Center for Behavioral Health Maryland Heights
Are you a compassionate RN looking to make a difference in behavioral health? Join our 20-bed psychiatric hospital serving geriatric patients with mental health needs such as cognitive illnesses. Located next to NHC HealthCare Maryland Heights, we provide care in a supportive and therapeutic environment.
About the Role
As a Behavioral Health RN, you'll assess patient needs, implement care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families. You'll help ensure a safe, compliant, and healing environment for all.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver care in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies
  • Monitor patient status and communicate changes to providers
  • Administer and document medications accurately
  • Maintain compliance with all licensing and accreditation standards
  • Use universal precautions and support de-escalation protocols

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active RN license in Missouri
  • Preferred: 1 year of nursing experience in a behavioral or geriatric setting
  • CPR/BLS required
