Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a day shift hospital position requiring current state licensure and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Details
  • Hospital setting providing cardiopulmonary care services
  • Day shift hours from 6:30am to 7:00pm
  • Rotating weekend schedule
  • Rotating call schedule
  • 6-week assignment length
Requirements
  • Current active state license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • BLS/BCLS certification required
  • CRT or RRT certification required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Additional Information
  • Provide cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with physician orders and department policies and procedures
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and understand associated purposes and side effects
  • Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators including airway management and tracheal suctioning
  • Maintain knowledge of various oxygen delivery methods and equipment
  • May be exposed to communicable diseases
