What You'll Be Doing

  • Operate front-end loader to move, load, and stockpile aggregate materials safely and efficiently

  • Inspect equipment daily and perform basic preventive maintenance and reporting

  • Coordinate with plant and truck drivers to ensure accurate blending, loading, and material flow

  • Maintain clean, organized work areas including haul roads, stockpiles, and loading zones

  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations at all times

  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a fast-paced industrial setting

  • Strong attention to safety, detail, and operational efficiency

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills across crews and functions

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify and report equipment issues

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during shifts

  • Capability to climb ladders, steps, and equipment multiple times per shift

  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds as needed

  • Manual dexterity to operate controls and perform inspections

  • Visual and auditory acuity to safely operate equipment and recognize hazards

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
