Job description

Job Summary

We're looking for a QC Inspector to help ensure aerospace components meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements before moving through production or returning to service. This role is all about attention to detail, following approved procedures, and ensuring quality comes first.

You'll perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, verify documentation, and work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to maintain compliance and product integrity.

Shift: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 3:00p-11:00P

Shift Differential: Additional $1.00/hr

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform incoming, in-process, hidden damage, and final inspections
  • Verify parts conform to drawings, specifications, travelers, and approved data
  • Inspect components in accordance with FAA, EASA, and other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gages, bore gages, dial indicators, pi tapes, hardness testers, and go/no-go gages
  • Verify part numbers, serial numbers, certifications, and customer paperwork
  • Ensure inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
  • Complete inspection records and documentation accurately
  • Identify and report quality issues, nonconformances, and potential compliance concerns
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow
  • Work closely with Production and Engineering to resolve inspection-related issues
  • Assist with implementation of new repairs, techniques, and inspection processes
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and ethical standards

 

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of quality inspection, manufacturing, aerospace, or related experience
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, OEM manuals, specifications, and repair documentation
  • Experience using precision measurement and inspection equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a regulated aerospace environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • FAA A&P License or Repairman Certificate with Return to Service Authorization
  • Aerospace manufacturing or repair station experience
  • Experience working with FAA, EASA, CAAC, UK CAA, or other civil aviation requirements
  • Knowledge of quality systems and airworthiness requirements
