Job Summary:
The Shift Leader is responsible for guiding and participating in all day to day operations of the restaurant. The Shift Leader supports all team members during the shift. Responsibilities include training and motivating team members, leading and delegating tasks, and opening and closing the store. The Shift Leader provides quality customer service and works to resolve customer issues. The Shift Leader oversees cleaning of equipment and facilities, and maintains Seasons Pizza’s standards for high quality, fresh ingredients and accurate/correct orders.

Job Requirements:
• Education: High School Diploma required, Undergraduate degree (bachelors), preferred.
• Experience: At least two years prior experience in a restaurant or food-oriented retail environment. Knowledge of service standards, food and beverage controls, and store level operations is important.
• Physical: Applicants must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Cognitive: Ability to read, speak and understand English.
• Work Schedule: Weekend and evening hour availability is a must. Hours will vary based on operational need, but you can expect to work between 20-40 hours each week.

Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to uniform and grooming guidelines of team members.
• Following opening check list procedures.
• Assign registers.
• Adhere to and enforce the posted team member schedule.
• Follow safe food handling and production procedures in accordance with health department regulations – ServSafe Certification
• Adhere to employee meal and discounts policy.
• Monitor dining room service and delivery standards.
• Complete and monitor cash handling throughout the shift.
• Collect and close driver drops throughout each driver’s shift.
• Check that all team members have completed their side work before they clock out.
• Follow register closing procedures (i.e., cash, receipts, pay outs, etc.).
• Follow closing check list procedures.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with weekly and monthly inventory using Foodtec system and store tablet.
• Other tasks as assigned.


Job Expectations and Qualifications:
• Report to work on time and adhere to timeclock requirements.
• Adhere to uniform and attire standards, and present a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in every position to be able to cover shifts of other employees as needed.
• Maintain positive customer and employee relations.
• Act as a coach, teacher, support and guide for employees at all times.
