Job description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU and pediatric experience for a day shift travel assignment in a hospital NICU setting.
Job Details
• NICU unit within an academic hospital setting,
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00-19:00),
• Every other weekend required,
• Coverage for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract,
• Floating is required,
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required,
• 13-week contract,
Job Requirements
• Current RRT credential required,
• Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience, with at least 1 year in NICU,
• NICU and pediatric experience required,
• Missouri (MO) or Compact license required; license must be active (pending not accepted) - license required if applicable,
• Cerner EMR experience preferred,
• 2 professional references required,
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more,
• Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to contagious illnesses,
Additional Information
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced travel pay rate,
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to consideration,
• The facility operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; rotating shifts and work during inclement weather may be required
