Job Description
JOB DETAILS
Base pay rate starts at $32.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Do preventative maintenance to equipment with list provided by Production Manager. Suggest additions/changes to the maintenance schedule.
  • Diagnose problems with the various type of equipment in facility.
  • Repair the various type of equipment in facility.
  • Design, build, and install, various types of project/machine enhancements as directed by the Production Manager.
  • Repair building structures, change/build minor construction projects in office/shop floor.
  • If repairs/diagnostics are needed beyond the training/ability of the maintenance personnel, he/she will contact the manufactures technical support resolve the problem.
  • If repairs/diagnostics are needed beyond the scope of what is able to be resolved in above manner, with the approval of the production manager, will line up vendor on site repair.
  • Utilize Assess Essentials and Vector Solutions software platforms.
  • Keep supplies for maintenance and other areas filled as needed.
  • Be very aware and utilize lockout tagout procedures and all other safe practices while working on equipment, and testing equipment for safe functioning.
  • Document/log inspections/equipment records.
  • Must have ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must keep maintenance area neat and tidy. Including emptying trash, cleaning equipment and controlling any oily conditions on the floor for any equipment that has been worked on.
  • Follow all safety guidelines as established by Metal Sales Manufacturing and/or management.
  • Must be willing to do other projects and tasks as directed by Supervision

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Must be able to problem solve
  • Must have a sense of priority, putting the equipment's needs above their own breaks, start/end times
