Overview

One of the most respected commercial concrete subcontractors in the country - with a track record spanning decades and a reputation for delivering complex tilt-up and cast-in-place projects with excellence - is expanding into the Dallas–Fort Worth market and seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations. We are known for our safety culture, our investment in people, and our ability to execute at high volume without sacrificing quality. If you are a field leader who takes pride in the work and wants to be part of a team that does things the right way - real pipeline, real growth - we want to talk.

The Opportunity

  • Target project profile: large-scale tilt-up warehouse and distribution facilities, 250,000–1,000,000+ SF
  • Established relationships with top-tier national and regional GCs active in the DFW market
  • Fully integrated self-perform operations including in-house finishing - you control quality from pour to finish
  • Best-in-class equipment fleet managed through an in-house equipment company - batch plant, laser screeds, and full fleet
  • Work-life balance is a priority - we respect your time outside of work

What You'll Do

  • Direct all field operations on tilt-up concrete projects from mobilization through final acceptance
  • Lead and manage field crews, labor, and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and quality execution
  • Develop and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules in coordination with the Project Manager
  • Oversee panel layout, embed placement, pour sequence, bracing, and erection operations
  • Ensure concrete placements meet mix design specifications, weather conditions, and quality standards
  • Enforce all safety protocols, conduct daily toolbox talks, and maintain OSHA compliance
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower logs, and field documentation
  • Coordinate equipment, material deliveries, and crane/pump scheduling
  • Manage RFIs and communicate field conditions and changes to the Project Manager promptly
  • Mentor and develop field personnel - lead by example

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of field superintending experience with a concrete subcontractor - tilt-up experience required
  • Deep working knowledge of tilt-up panel construction: layout, casting, bracing systems, and erection
  • Technical expertise in tilt-up concrete with the ability to communicate clearly to field staff
  • Experience managing large concrete pours including pump/truck sequencing and crew coordination
  • Strong understanding of concrete quality control, curing, and finishing standards
  • Proven ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specs, and shop drawings
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage large field crews

Compensation & Benefits

  • Above-market base salary commensurate with experience
  • Annual discretionary bonus tied to the success of the Texas operation
  • Excellent coverage options with minimal out-of-pocket cost
  • 401k with company match
  • Company truck + gas card
  • Cell phone and laptop provided
  • PTO competitive and negotiable
  • Formal training program and mentor/mentee program for professional development

Why This Opportunity?

  • Work for a nationally recognized concrete subcontractor with an unmatched reputation for quality and safety
  • Technology-forward organization that competes on speed and quality - aggressive scheduling and self-perform finishing set us apart
  • Top-tier equipment fleet - we give our Superintendents the tools to execute at the highest level
  • Safety-first culture backed by an industry-leading EMR
  • A company that develops and promotes from within - formal mentoring and training programs
  • Clear path for career advancement within a rapidly growing division
