Atlas Molded Productsis seeking anIndustrial Maintenance Technicianfor theWashington, IAfacility.

Great opportunity!! Pay DOE- $24-$32. Day Shift position.

industrial Maintenance Technician Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all new and existing equipment is operating properly.
  • Troubleshoot equipment for electrical and/or mechanic issues and identify root cause.
  • Rebuild and/or reseal components as needed to ensure functionality.
  • Perform or assist with any repairs that may be needed to the equipment, building, and/or grounds.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all equipment.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment as needed.
  • Properly entering documentation for performed maintenance into a computer maintenance management system (CMMS) for accurate record keeping.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Experience

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred.
  • Must understand and be proficient with multimeters, meggers, and other electrical testing equipment for testing electrical components and circuits.
  • Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components and systems.
  • Must be able to use simple math, count, and use basic hand-held measuring tools.
  • Must have general understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Education, Licenses & Certifications

  • High school diploma.
  • Higher education in a related field a plus.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Additional Information

  • Moderate to heavy physical effort required including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling.
  • Long pants and safety toe footwear required.
  • All tools and supplies provided by the company
