What You Do.

  • Design data visuals and concepts based on business stakeholder input.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to discover business needs and capture business use cases for data, analytics, and AI initiatives.
  • Build basic data models for business analytics initiatives with support from data engineers.
  • Assist in developing and testing ELT/ETL pipelines that move and transform data across cloud and on-premise systems.
  • Support data quality monitoring efforts, including identifying anomalies, gaps, and inconsistencies in datasets.
  • Develop and manage policies and best practices for proper data protection and security.
  • Support the collection of metadata information for analytics metrics and data terminology, including contributing to data catalog and lineage documentation efforts.
  • Assist in enabling business stakeholders on data, analytics, and AI tools, software, and concepts, including responsible and effective use of approved AI capabilities.
  • Support AI-related research, experimentation, and documentation efforts, including evaluating use cases, gathering business requirements, measuring value, and contributing to AI adoption and enablement activities.
  • Gain a basic understanding and work effectively in an Agile (SAFe) project management framework Assist with packaging design projects

 

Your Education and Qualifications.

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information science, data science, information technology, computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related field, having completed sophomore year prior to the start of internship.
  • Basic understanding of data querying and programming languages (SQL, Python) a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI tools, prompt engineering concepts, machine learning fundamentals, or generative AI technologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Snowflake) a plus.
  • Exposure to data pipeline or transformation tools (dbt, Matillion, or similar) a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization or business intelligence (BI) tools a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity about how data moves through systems and how it is structured, stored, consumed, and leveraged through analytics and AI solutions.
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle required. There is no mass/public transit system to/from corporate housing location to company locations
