Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $187,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or database management and building enterprise-scale mission systems, preferably within the federal sector
  • Experience with managing geospatial intelligence data (vectors and rasters) 
  • Familiarity with Cloud platforms such as Oracle, AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong experience with architecting and implementing Oracle Databases 
  • AI-enabling data using Vector data type, RAG, and MCP
  • Strong knowledge of ETL pipeline design (including data transformations)  and implementation for large-scale data systems
  • Containers/Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or other automation tools
  • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage practices
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, DBAs, and business analysts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting and presenting solutions
  • The ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI eligibility with poly required

Desired Skills:

  • Designing multi-modal databases that integrate multiple data types, including:
    • Relational
    • Spatial
    • JSON
    • Graph
  • Knowledge of data security best practices and regulatory compliance 
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in a data engineering context
  • Creating and deploying RESTful APIs; Oracle API Gateway
  • Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Database Certified Professional or OCI Architect Professional) are a plus
  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC)-related agencies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills
