What is a day shift aggregate hauling driver?

Day shift aggregate hauling jobs involve transporting materials like sand, gravel, crushed stone, or other aggregates from one location to another, typically using dump trucks or similar vehicles. Workers in these roles are responsible for loading, securing, and delivering materials safely during daytime hours, often serving construction sites, plants, or landscaping projects. The job requires a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), good driving skills, and adherence to safety regulations. Typical responsibilities may also include routine vehicle inspections and communicating with dispatch for scheduling. These positions are ideal for individuals who prefer daytime work and have experience with heavy vehicles.
