🚛 Residential Garbage Truck Driver (Rear-Load) 🚛

📍 Location: Okahumpka, FL

💵 Pay: $23+ per Hour (Based on Experience)

🕒 Schedule: Monday-Friday | Occasional Saturdays

⏱️ Average 50-60 Hours Per Week

This is not just a driving position. Drivers will actively service residential routes by operating the truck, riding on the rear step between stops, and assisting with the collection of residential waste. Key Responsibilities

✅ Safely operate a residential rear-load garbage truck on assigned routes

✅ Ride on the rear step of the truck between service stops when required

✅ Repeatedly climb on and off the vehicle throughout the workday

✅ Lift, pull, and empty residential trash containers

✅ Perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment

✅ Safely navigate residential neighborhoods while providing excellent customer service

✅ Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

✅ Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations

✅ Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

✅ Assist team members in completing routes safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For

✅ Valid CDL (Class A or B)

✅ Minimum 2 years of work experience with a stable work history

✅ Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day

✅ Comfortable riding on the rear step of the truck during residential collection routes

✅ Ability to repeatedly climb on and off the truck throughout the shift

✅ Strong commitment to safety and customer service

✅ Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

✅ Ability to work extended hours as needed

✅ Residential Rear-Load or Front-Load experience is a plus, but not required
