Company Description One2One Bodyscapes Wellesley is a locally owned and operated Personal Training and Pilates studio focused on delivering individualized fitness experiences. The studio emphasizes efficient, results-oriented sessions tailored to each clientโ€™s abilities and goals. Clients work with skilled and dedicated fitness professionals who prioritize safe progression and appropriate intensity levels. The environment is supportive, community-oriented, and centered on helping clients build strength, mobility, and confidence. Team members join a small, collaborative studio with a strong commitment to high-quality, personalized service.

Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Pilates Reformer Instructor role based in Wellesley, MA. The instructor will lead Pilates Reformer sessions for individuals, providing clear instruction, exercise modifications, and form corrections to support safe and effective workouts. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning session formats, setting up and maintaining Pilates equipment, and tracking client progress and goals. The instructor will greet clients, answer questions, and deliver a welcoming, professional experience from arrival through the end of each session. Additional duties may include collaborating with other trainers, supporting studio events, and helping maintain a clean, organized studio environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong Pilates Instruction skills, with experience teaching Reformer-based sessions and tailoring exercises to different fitness levels and abilities.
  • Understanding of body mechanics, and injury awareness to support safe modifications and referrals when appropriate.
  • Excellent Customer Service and client relationship skills, including active listening, professionalism, and a welcoming, inclusive attitude.
  • Teaching skills that include clear cueing, patience, motivation, and the ability to explain movement concepts in accessible language.
  • Current Pilates Reformer certification (or in progress) from a recognized program; additional certifications in fitness or movement are a plus.
  • CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within a defined time frame.
  • Ability to work on-site in Wellesley, MA with reliable punctuality, including some early morning, evening, or weekend availability.
