Goodwill Industries of Michiana is seeking a skilled and passionate Automotive Instructor to lead our Automotive Skilled Trades Training Program. In this role, you will deliver ASE-aligned training, develop and facilitate curriculum, and prepare participants for entry-level employment in the automotive industry. The instructor teaches core competencies including automotive safety, repair theory, diagnostics, brakes, steering and suspension, and engine repair, while integrating customer service and workplace readiness skills.
In addition to instruction, this position oversees day-to-day program operations, tracks participant progress, and maintains required records to meet program and grant outcomes. The Automotive Instructor collaborates closely with the Career and Technical Education team, Success Coach, Career Navigator, and employer partners to support participant success and job placement. This role reports to the Career and Technical Education Team Lead and upholds Goodwill's mission to empower individuals to achieve their fullest potential.
