Truck Washer and Laborer

Job Type: Part-Time (Saturday & Sunday – 10 hours each)
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 Per Hour

Job Description:
A Advanced Septic and Construction Services is hiring a Truck Washer Laborer to help maintain our fleet of vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, a team player, and have a positive attitude. Duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning and maintaining our fleet of vehicles and equipment, providing upkeep to our yards and facilities, and acting as a parts runner when needed. While Truck Washer Laborers may work at either of our two locations, most time will be spent at our centralized location in Auburn.

As a Truck Washer Laborer, you will manually wash our fleet using brushes, cloths, pressurized hoses, and other equipment to clean and detail vehicles and equipment. You will utilize power washing equipment, cleaning solvents, powders, wipes, and other tools to detail the interiors and exteriors of our fleet and equipment.


Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 3 years of verifiable driving experience (does not include permit time)
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening in accordance with applicable laws
  • Demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and integrity when working independently, including on weekends
  • Comfortable performing physical labor, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions; must be able to lift 75+ lbs throughout the day
  • Ability to operate, maintain, and care for company vehicles and equipment
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently
  • Excellent attention to detail and effective verbal communication skills
  • Willing to assist other departments with labor-related tasks as needed, including lawn and yard care, weed eating, parts running, general maintenance, warehouse, shop, and septic-related duties

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize vehicle interiors; vacuum and prepare vehicle interiors
  • Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, trucks, excavators, flatbed trucks, and other machinery
  • Inspect vehicles for safety concerns; report warning lights and/or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ensure cleaning, detailing, washing, and sanitization supplies are available
  • Maintain overall site appearance, including general cleaning of branch locations (desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, etc.)
  • Organize hoses and yard equipment and tidy up yard debris
  • Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal-setting
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
