About the Role:

The Day Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of commercial or public facilities during daytime hours. This position ensures that all common areas, restrooms, and entryways are clean, well-stocked, and presentable to visitors, employees, and clients. The Day Porter is responsible for promptly addressing any maintenance or cleanliness issues that arise throughout the day, contributing to a positive and professional environment. By performing routine cleaning tasks and minor maintenance duties, the Day Porter supports the facility management team in upholding high standards of hygiene and safety. Ultimately, this role helps create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects positively on the organization and enhances the experience of all building occupants.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or porter services preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies, with a commitment to safety protocols.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in commercial or office building environments.
