About the Role:

The Day Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of commercial or residential properties during daytime hours. This position ensures that all common areas, entrances, and facilities are clean, well-stocked, and presentable to visitors, tenants, and staff. The Day Porter is responsible for promptly addressing any maintenance or cleanliness issues that arise throughout the day, contributing to a positive environment and enhancing the reputation of the property. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards or areas needing attention, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Ultimately, the Day Porter supports the smooth operation of the facility by providing a clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for all occupants and guests.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in janitorial or porter services.
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals.
