Gulf Cable is looking to hire a knowledgeable operator to operate a Copper Wire Screening Machine and/or Aluminum/Copper Wire Stranding Machine. These machines process several copper or aluminum wires; they apply around center core or bunch them to make conductor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Has run screening or stranding machine in a Cable Manufacturing facility.
  • Can set-up the screening or stranding machine independently from selection of tooling, set-up of pay-off and take-up, setting running parameters and monitoring the Quality of Product consistently.
  • Familiar with electronic screens (Human Machine Interface) for controlling the screening or stranding process.
  • Good Mechanical skills with ability to handle and move heavy reels of products.
  • Must maintain consistent log of production and Quality per Gulf Cable systems.
