Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Penn Testing, Inc. is seeking a Level II NDT Technician for a full-time position based out of Schnecksville, PA, for callout work locally and in the surrounding areas.

Applicants must be able to provide the following Documents:

  • High School Diploma/GED/Degree
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License
  • Proof of classroom hours/Training in NDT
  • ASNT or State-issued Radiographer Certification card

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s).
  • Interpret, evaluate and document results.
  • To be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods in which certified and be capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I personnel.
  • Follow codes, standards and other contractual documents to satisfy customer needs.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

PREREQUISITES:

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Ability to pass a DOT drug screening and NRC Increased Controls FBI background check.
  • ASNT or State-issued Industrial Radiographers Certification Card.
  • Prior experience as an NDT Level II with adequate classroom and field experience hours to certify to Level II per ASNT SNT-TC-1A in RT, MT, and PT as aย minimum.ย ย Additional methods, including CR, UTT, UT, VT, PMI, CWI, etc. are a plus.
  • Experience in multiple NDT techniques and situations.ย ย Our customers can vary greatly including ASME fab shops, API pipelines, elevated water towers, amusement parks, castings, etc.
  • Must be proficient in using computers and Microsoft Excel to generate customer reports.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and locations to satisfy our customersโ€™ needs.
