Job description

Role: SAP BDC & SAP Databricks Solution Architect Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) & SAP Databricks Solution Architect to lead an enterprise Proof of Concept (POC) and guide architecture decisions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SAP BDC, SAP Databricks, and SAP Datasphere, with the ability to design scalable solutions, integrate SAP/non-SAP data sources, and support AI/ML use cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead architecture and implementation of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) solutions.

  • Design and implement SAP Databricks workflows for enterprise data integration and analytics.

  • Develop and optimize SAP Datasphere components including:

    • Data Modeling

    • Replication & Transformation Flows

    • Data Products

    • BDC Connect / Delta Sharing

  • Integrate SAP and non-SAP data sources into unified data pipelines.

  • Implement AI/ML solutions using Databricks (Python, Spark, MLflow, SQL).

  • Provide best practices and guidance for enterprise-scale SAP BDC implementations.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify finance analytics, FP&A, and forecasting use cases.

  • Mentor teams and ensure adherence to architectural standards and governance.

Required Skills
  • Hands-on implementation experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).

  • Strong expertise in SAP Databricks.

  • Working knowledge of SAP Datasphere (data modeling, replication, transformation flows, data products).

  • Experience with AI/ML implementation using Databricks (Python, Spark, MLflow, SQL).

  • Proven ability to integrate SAP and non-SAP data sources.

Good to Have Skills
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA CDS Views.

  • Exposure to Finance Analytics / FP&A use cases.

  • Forecasting or advanced AI/ML implementation experience.

  • Prior experience supporting SAP BDC POCs and enterprise implementations.

Experience Required
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in SAP BDC, SAP Databricks, and Datasphere.

  • Proven track record in solution architecture and enterprise-scale implementations.
