Role Overview

 

Reporting to the Lead, ERP Reporting & Analytics, the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Developer, ERP Reporting & Analytics will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise reporting, dashboards, and analytical solutions within SAP Analytics Cloud. This role requires deep expertise in SAC story development, dashboard design, data modeling, planning capabilities, and analytics best practices.

Working primarily within SAP Analytics Cloud, the developer will translate business reporting and analytical requirements into intuitive, scalable, and high-performance reports and dashboards. The position will focus on delivering actionable insights and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

The SAC Developer will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, business analysts, data architects, and ERP project teams to develop governed reporting solutions that support enterprise-wide reporting and analytics initiatives.

This is a one-year contract.

Responsibilities

 

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP Analytics Cloud reports, dashboards, stories, and applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting and dashboard requirements.
  • Create highly interactive and visually compelling dashboards that provide actionable business insights.
  • Develop optimized SAC models based on SAP Datasphere, SAP S/4HANA, and other enterprise data sources.
  • Design and implement calculations, restricted measures, KPIs, hierarchies, variables, and business metrics.
  • Develop planning models, data input forms, and forecasting solutions where required.
  • Optimize report and dashboard performance to ensure scalability and user adoption.
  • Apply report design standards, governance practices, and user experience best practices.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of SAC reports and dashboards.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and resolve reporting-related issues.
  • Develop technical documentation, report specifications, and support materials.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and reporting standards.
  • Stay current with SAP Analytics Cloud innovations and recommend improvements to reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) development experience, including:
    • Stories and Optimized Stories
    • Responsive Pages
    • Analytics Designer Applications
    • KPI Scorecards and Executive Dashboards
    • Planning and Forecasting application (asset)
  • Strong experience developing SAC models, calculations, restricted measures, variables, hierarchies, and business KPIs
  • SAP Analytics Cloud certification is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of reporting governance, security roles, and enterprise reporting standards
  • Experience working with Finance, Supply Chain, Asset Management, Procurement, Marketing, or Logistics reporting.
  • Solid understanding of SAC governance features, such as data lineage, metadata management, cataloging, and security roles
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Pay Range: CAD $null - $null per year

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
