Program Overview Provides IC data management support to modernize mega data repositories, dataflow management, data provenance and compliance validation, and streaming solutions. About The Role Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a large analytic cloud repository environment in Annapolis Junction, MD.

This position will augment an existing dataflow team responsible for Data Flow Management and mission-critical data distribution efforts supporting enterprise-level operations. The selected candidate will work closely with engineering and operations teams to manage, optimize, troubleshoot, and modernize complex data flows within a high-ingest analytic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting data flow engineering initiatives and working with Apache NiFi or similar dataflow technologies.

This work supports a prime program delivering enterprise-wide capabilities including: * Data management and delivery solutions such as dataflow management, streaming analytic frameworks, and rules-based data management systems * Development and maintenance of mission systems and customer tools * High-ingest cloud-based content and metadata architectures * Analytic platforms supporting enterprise-wide developer and operator productivity This role supports an evolving infrastructure environment utilizing methodologies designed to increase flexibility and reduce time-to-mission for new capabilities. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree * Seventeen (17) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required * Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required * Demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required * Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations as needed Highly Desired Skills * Experience supporting data governance processes including DMRs, DLMS, DSW, and DART * Experience supporting security and compliance requirements related to data handling * Experience with access control and catalog labeling processes * Experience supporting dataflow engineering or Apache NiFi environments Details Target Salary Range: $190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
