Overview:
Performance Test Engineer
St. Louis, MI
Description:
Client is looking for an experienced Performance Engineer to join our engineering team and to work with one of the leading financial services organization in the US.
The candidate must have proven IT experience with good understanding of SDLC and performance testing background.
Responsibilities:
• Understands and analyzes performance test requirements
• Defines approach and methodology for performance testing
• Develops performance test script suite
• Executes performance tests, captures and analyzes results
• Assist in other performance engineering activities as needed
• Create and report performance test progress and defects
• Maintains performance script repository
• Should be able to troubleshoot and find RCA for performance issues and recommend to the engineering team
• Coordinate with the engineering team at onsite and offshore
• Report any issues with the client stakeholders and UST leadership
Requirements:
• BS degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, able to communicate with technical people as well as business and management.
• Expertise in QA methodologies, Test Process and practices.
• At least 8 plus years of experience in IT industry
• 3 plus years of hands-on performance test experience with Jmeter (Jmeter experience is a MUST).
• Experience with AppDynamic (DynaTrace, PerfMon, DataDog, NewRelic, others are a plus)
• 3 plus years of cloud experience (Resiliency, Fail-over, Chaos)
• Experience with Splunk
• Application Tuning or Performance Engineering experience
• Knowledge in CI/CD using Jenkins
