Job Summary:
ARK Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Databricks Subject Matter Expert to design, develop, and maintain data engineering pipelines. The role involves optimizing Spark performance and working with cloud services in Databricks implementations.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain data engineering pipelines in Databricks using PySpark or SQL
• Develop streaming pipelines using Databricks Autoloader or Structured Streaming
• Data Modeling experience with Delta Lake tables and Bronze-Silver-Gold Medallion Architecture
• Optimize Spark performance including Delta Lake optimizations
• Work with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) used in Databricks implementations
• Address ad hoc questions across the Databricks product suite
Qualifications:
Required:
• At least one Databricks' Professional Certificate
• Hands-on development experience
• Strong customer presence and ability to address various Databricks inquiries
Preferred:
• GitHub and CI/CD experience is a plus
• Databricks Certified Machine Learning Pro
• Databricks PT - Developer Foundations
