Sr. Analyst - Marketing Analytics - 12 month contract/temp role

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and analytically driven Senior Analyst to improve marketing effectiveness, support growth initiatives, and deliver clear customer and campaign insights across digital and offline marketing channels.

In this role, you will partner closely with Marketing, Analytics, and cross-functional teams to measure performance within a mature multi-touch attribution framework, identify optimization opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in customer behavior analysis, experimentation, and performance reporting.

Location & Work Schedule

  • Location: Orlando, FL
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days a week in-office/2 days work from home)
  • Schedule: Mon - Fri 9:00a-5:00p
  • Pay: $45-$50/hr based on experience
  • Travel: Minimal (5% or less for occasional meetings, training, or events)

Essential Job Responsibilities

Marketing Performance & Growth Insights

  • Analyze marketing performance across paid and owned channels to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
  • Provide clear insights related to channel performance, audience targeting, campaign effectiveness, and creative performance.
  • Support marketing teams in improving acquisition efficiency, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing spend efficiency and return on investment (ROI).

Customer & Audience Analytics

  • Analyze customer behavior, funnel performance, audience segmentation, and engagement trends.
  • Develop insights related to customer acquisition, retention, and lifecycle performance.
  • Identify high-value customer segments to improve marketing targeting.

Attribution & Measurement

  • Leverage and refine existing attribution and measurement frameworks to evaluate channel contribution.
  • Support ongoing incrementality testing and lift measurement through structured experiments and holdout analysis.
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve measurement methodologies and reporting consistency.

Testing & Experimentation

  • Design and analyze A/B tests and other marketing experiments.
  • Ensure testing methodologies use representative audiences and statistically sound approaches.
  • Provide clear recommendations based on test results and campaign learnings.

Reporting & Visualization

  • Develop and enhance scalable dashboards and visualization tools to support business decisions.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Improve reporting automation and efficiency.

Data & Technical Collaboration

  • Query and analyze large datasets using SQL and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to validate tracking, campaign data, and reporting accuracy.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic marketing decisions and growth initiatives.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. (Equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree).

Required Experience & Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics, growth analytics, or a related field.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Strong experience with data visualization and analytics tools: Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Power BI, and BigQuery.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, performance measurement, and funnel analysis.
  • Experience analyzing campaign performance and turning data into clear business recommendations.
  • Solid knowledge of attribution concepts, customer segmentation, and A/B testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills & Experience (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience applying forecasting or predictive analytics to support marketing investments.
  • Familiarity with advanced attribution concepts or incrementality testing.
  • Experience working with customer lifecycle, retention, or loyalty-focused businesses.
