Position:Software Engineer III

Duties:Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Requirement And Scoping Analysis: understand the Business/Stakeholder/Technical requirements andassistin analyzing the existing solutions to address the needs (in case of agilemethodology, for the iteration).Prepare requirement traceability matrix and maintain traceability between business requirements, functional requirements, design and test cases.Contribute to the creation of user stories for component/module/simple requirements (for example: based on scalability etc.) (For agilemethodology). Coding: create/configure minimalistic code for entire component/application and ensure the componentsare meetingbusiness/technical requirements, non-functional requirements, low-maintainability, high-availabilityand high-scalability needs.Assistin the selection ofappropriate languages(E.g.JavaScript, Python, C# etc.), development standards and tools (E.g.Monday.com, Linx,Emboldetc.) for software coding/configuration. Take the initiative to learn the fundamentals of different coding languages and frameworks that would be useful for future scope of work. Build scripts for automation of repetitive and routine tasks in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery),Testingor any other process (as applicable). Implement telemetry features asrequiredindependently. Ensure security policy requirements are properly applied to components/application during code development/configuration. Testing:mapthe customerrequirements into testobjectives.Identifyand create test cases for the component/module. Execute test cases to test the code and detect errors and defects for the entirecomponent. Executedifferent typesof testing usingappropriate testingtools based on the testing needs. Defect Management and Troubleshooting: track and analyze defects for the component/ module and carry out regression testing to fix defects in all instances of code changes. Analyze defects from past projects/solutions to avoid recurrence of similar defects. Troubleshoot performance and availability bottlenecks for the application DevOps Orientation: conduct complex maintenance procedures for applications independently. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the application by tracking and analyzingappropriate metrics; Perform maintenance (corrective, adaptive, perfective) and re-engineering activities. Analyze application logs, maintenance activity data, performance data and provide analysis; Evaluate change requests toidentifythose which are valid andfeasible. Program Monitoring: ensure adherence to the project against approved milestones and timelines.
Minimum education and experience required:Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, plus 2 years of experience in software engineering or related experience.
Skills Required:Must have experience with: Coding in an object-oriented programming language (C++ and Python). Working with scriptinglanguagesuch as Bash, Batch, and PowerShell. Writing andoptimizingSQL for relational and analytical databases. Azure cloud services. Creating automated jobs and Dashboards on Databricks Platform. Setting up centralized governance operations using Databricks REST API tomonitormultiple Databricks' workspaces. Designing and developing data processing jobs using Apache Spark (PySpark).Virtualizationplatforms and operating workloads on virtual machines. Building automated email alerts using SMTP. Git-based source control. Testing and troubleshooting using unit and integration tests and root-cause analysis.Employerwill accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Rate of pay:$90,000.00 - 180,000.00/year
