Job Description

This position covers ETL design, automation, and delivery of critical data infrastructure supporting fraud strategy operations and reporting

Position Highlights

  • Design and oversight of critical data infrastructure and associated ETL automation.

  • Partner with technology, architecture, and business stakeholders to define migration strategies, establish best practices, and support adoption of Databricks capabilities.

  • Design, implement, and oversee GitLab version control integration and governance for data infrastructure, ETL processes, and reporting assets, ensuring adherence to change management, deployment, and development best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual tasks and develop automated solutions to optimize data mart ETL processes.

  • Construct datasets that are easy to read and analyze.

  • Ensure and improve data quality, performance, and efficiency.

  • Combine raw information from different sources to create consistent and machine-readable formats.

  • Perform root cause analyses of service disruptions and performance degradation.

  • Maintain awareness of compliance and regulatory factors and understand how they impact and drive work efforts.

  • Produce and maintain documentation relating to data infrastructure, platform architecture, migration activities, and associated key controls.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than six years of applicable experience

- Strong Databricks, Python, and SAS programing and analysis skills and experience are required

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Working knowledge of SQL programing

- Knowledge of industry KPI's and the associated data that make up those measures

- Strong analytical skills relative to evaluating data infrastructure performance and vulnerability

- High attention to detail for executive level reports

- Thorough knowledge of strategic planning, and banking operations

- Working knowledge of data architectures and strategies

- Strong project management skills

- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

- Strong written, and verbal presentation experience to upper management and executive levels

- Banking/Financial Services experience

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $94,010.00 - $110,600.00
