Job Description:
Java Developer
Location: Bentonville, Arkansas (Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Java Developer for a contract position. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting RESTful APIs and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and the Spring ecosystem, along with experience in cloud platforms and data technologies.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support RESTful APIs.
• Integrate applications with third-party libraries, services, and APIs.
• Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application architectures.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools.
• Create clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and design artifacts.
• Perform analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Manage multiple priorities and take end-to-end ownership of tasks.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:

• Programming experience in Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Experience with Kafka and SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure and Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Databricks is a plus.
