Job Summary:
Sandhills Global is seeking a Database Developer to play a key role in developing industry-leading solutions using MS SQL Server. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale database projects in a collaborative environment, focusing on improving database architecture and execution.
Responsibilities:
• Design and document logical and physical database models to cater to a variety of business requirements
• Adhere to best practices and standards in the areas of performance, security, and availability of databases
• Create, maintain, and execute SQL Server jobs
• Provide post-implementation support, including, but not limited to, monitoring application performance and debugging existing code
• Keep up with advancements and changes in technology and develop an understanding of how new technologies can be leveraged to provide business solutions
• Assume other database duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
• In Office Position. 4.5 day regular work week. Ability to commute daily to local office is required.

• Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment

• Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred:
• 2+ years of proficient experience in design, development, and maintenance of database projects

• Experience working in an Agile or iterative approach to delivery preferred
• Experience in cloud environments, preferably Azure is a plus
