We're expanding our software organization and seeking a Database Engineer who is passionate about building reliable, high-performance systems that power mission-critical healthcare applications. As a key contributor to our engineering team, you'll design, optimize, and strengthen the databases that support our nationwide life-safety solutions. You'll collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum teams, and stakeholders to model data structures, improve performance, enhance ETL and data warehouse workflows, and ensure best-in-class database security and reliability. Your expertise will help advance our long-term vision of achieving Zero Downtime Deployment for the 24/7 systems our customers depend on.
What You'll Do:
  • Partner with Product Owners, Scrum teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend solutions
  • Lead data modeling efforts and guide teams in database design
  • Optimize performance across queries, indexing, and stored procedures
  • Develop and enhance ETL and data warehouse processes
  • Apply and uphold database security best practices
  • Assist engineers learning to develop stored procedures
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation
  • Support field teams with database-related issues
  • Contribute to business continuity planning and testing
