Job description

Position: Sr Healthcare Project Manager

Experience: -10+ Years

Location: -Remote

Responsibilities: -

  • Demonstrate Planning and execution of the SN CMDB upgrade project within the Managed Service
  • Creating and maintaining detailed project plan(s) in ServiceNow
  • Assessing and monitoring resources availability
  • Managing resources with business owners to deliver tasks on time and within budget
  • Organizing internal reviews to track and control progress against project milestones, identifying issues that need to be addressed, and taking escalation action when necessary
  • Reporting progress to the Senior Project Manager / Lead and maintaining IT project plan(s)
  • Daily exchange with stakeholders at all levels within the business and core team to drive the project (including senior management, function owners, process owners, IT support, key users and end users)
  • Ensuring that project tools and systems are utilized effectively to track completion of detailed tasks for various workstreams (process mapping, data cleansing, migration, testing, training, IT and communication)
  • Coordinating the attendance of participants in organized working groups, such as scenario testing and training
  • Managing the Communication Plan and escalating any issues or concerns in a timely manner to business and project leaders
  • Interfacing daily with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to co-ordinate project activities and address issues as they occur
  • Overseeing progress on data cleansing and migration activities for all business functions if applicable
  • Coordinating overall testing plans and preparation of test scripts with Core Team support (unit & scenario testing, end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing)
  • Coordinating user role allocations and authorizations with the Senior Project Manager / Lead
  • Ensuring adequate training material is prepared by process owners in a timely manner and/or addressing this solely
  • Managing the business training log for end-users, including user feedback and auditing
  • Overseeing the implementation of IT hardware & software (DICOM, Mirth, ClinApps (PACS - InteleRad, PowerScribe and Clario workflows, etc.)
  • Managing the preparation and execution of the business cutover with the ERP core team
  • Providing coaching and training to team members to help them perform their project tasks
  • Ensuring that all project tasks are documented accordingly
  • Preparing project reports for monthly communication to the client (Steerco etc. as required)
  • Carrying out post Go-Live follow-up to ensure business reaches sustainable ERP operation (MRP functionality, user discipline, effective use of BI reporting, etc.)
  • Preparing feedback for the next implementation (Lessons Learned, QA docs, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned Qualities:
  • Creating and implementing a detailed project plan
  • Organizing and leading workshops
  • Coordinating and managing resources
  • Communication and feedback of project plan(s) and progress
  • Risk assessment and mitigation planning
  • Coaching and training team members
  • Documentation and quality control of project tasks
  • Project reporting and feedback to team
  • Mediation and resolution of issues between stakeholders, escalation to Managed Service Lead as needed Minimum

Educational Qualifications: -

  • Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
  • Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.

Mandatory skills

  • Proven ServiceNow project management experience, at least 3 years, ideally some experience working with the CMDB as well as a broad knowledge of SN modules (HR, PPM etc.)
  • Strong project management experience in a healthcare environment ideally with some experience in Radiology
  • Sound understanding of all applicable business functions
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to deal assertively at all levels within the business and 3rd parties (consultants, experts, steering, other stakeholders)
  • Process mapping experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with computer and information technology in DevOps and Teams
  • Proficiency with Agile performing the role of Scrum Master Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Preferably PMP or PMI certified, preferably Scrum Master certified Experience:
  • 12+ years Project Management
  • 8+ years in Healthcare
  • 3+ years ServiceNow
  • Some experience with the following is preferred: ClinApps (InteleRad, PowerScribe, Clario), WorkDay
  • Some experience in organizational change management
