Job description

Project Manager

Location:Greater Chicago Area (DuPage, Lake, Cook, McHenry Counties)
Travel:~2 days/week in the field 3 days remote

About the Role

We're scaling fast and building a massive project pipeline. This is a high-impact, ground-floor opportunity to work directly alongside our Director of Engineering as hisright-hand partner-owning projects from early prospect through scope, pricing, and handoff to Project Management.

This is a development-focused position for someone who wants exposure to real projects, real dollars, and real growth. You'll be organizing deals, walking buildings, shaping scopes of work, building bid packages, and helping drive projects to execution.

This role is ideal for a sharp, polished, early-career professional who can communicate clearly, handle technical documents, and isn't afraid to mix field work with office execution.


What You'll Do
  • Walk active and potential project sites and help develop project scopes

  • Build bid documentation and perform peer reviews with the Director of Development

  • Organize and structure projects inMonday.com

  • Review subcontractor bids and assist with contractor negotiations

  • Help with bulk pricing, scope comparisons, and vendor coordination

  • Maintain and grow a database of subcontractors and trade partners

  • Prepare documentation for handoff to Project Managers

  • Assist with development paperwork and internal tracking

  • Support ongoing project development initiatives across multiple counties

This is a hybrid role with hands-on exposure to how projects are developed, priced, and launched.
