This program provides software development and technical support services to sustain, enhance, and optimize a critical customer system through secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

In this role, you will lead the implementation and administration of the program's DevSecOps ecosystem, supporting secure software delivery across Cloud One (AWS) environments. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), integrating security and compliance automation, administering cloud infrastructure, and ensuring reliable, secure deployment of mission-critical applications. Working closely with software engineers, database administrators, architects, testers, and cybersecurity stakeholders, you will help accelerate software delivery while maintaining the highest standards of security, reliability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve fully automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or other Government-approved tools.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Ansible or equivalent technologies to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of AWS cloud environments.
  • Administer and support all Cloud One (AWS) environments, ensuring system availability, performance, security, and compliance.
  • Integrate automated security capabilities into the software development lifecycle, including Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Open Source Analysis (OSA), container security scanning, and related DevSecOps tools.
  • Generate, maintain, and remediate Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) findings in accordance with program security and compliance requirements.
  • Manage containerized application deployments using Docker and container orchestration technologies.
  • Implement secure secrets management, credential protection, and automated backup and disaster recovery processes for DevSecOps infrastructure and tooling.
  • Support production software releases by developing installation plans, infrastructure deployment packages, data migration scripts, STIG documentation, and Infrastructure as Code artifacts.
  • Maintain deployment artifacts within the program's binary repository and support high deployment success rates through automation and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot deployment and operational issues, and rapidly resolve production incidents.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to improve build automation, release processes, infrastructure scalability, and application reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements, configuration management standards, and secure cloud operating practices.
