Job description

Position: Database Management - Intermediate
Duration: 12 Months (CTH)
Location: Plano, TX
This is a W2 position that requires candidate to be onsite 2-3 days in a week.
Skills:
  • 9 years hands on experience with Oracle 11, 12 and 19c and/or Exadata as an Oracle Applications/Systems DBA in a Linux environment.
  • Moderate PL/SQL Development, Unix Shell and Python Scripting experience
  • Excellent Communication Skills both Oral and Written
  • Architects advanced, strategic DBMS solutions, supports development and/or production of large scale, complex distributed, midrange environments, develops and manages execution of DB implementation/upgrade
  • Evaluates tools and performs database performance monitoring, analysis and recommendations
  • Defines database standards, policies and procedures
  • Maintains strong data governance discipline. Highly effective at facilitation of data requirements.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in use of data modeling tools and operational/data warehouse design concepts.
  • Design and implement automation for problem remediation or prevention.
  • Experience with AAAS, Microservices, Oracle Cloud is desirable.
