AMERICAN SYSTEMSis seeking aData Architect III with 7 – 10 years of experience and a TS/SCI Clearanceto support The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) -Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract III Mission


  • Responsible for designing, implementing, andmaintaininga data architecture to ensure the integrity, availability, and reliability of technical baselines and artifacts.
  • Develops andmaintainsdata management plans and processes (e.g., data acquisition, validation, and storage; documenting datalineage andenforcing data protection protocols.
  • Collaborates with systems engineering, cybersecurity, and configuration management staff to ensure systems integration.
  • Supportsestablishingnaming conventions, metadata structures, and access control policies.
  • Supports audit readiness and continuous improvement of data management practices.
  • Works in close Coordination EDLM/UDLM (Emergency/Urgent Depot Level Maintenance) manager

Education: Bachelors in IT, Cyber, CS, IS, Data Science, or SW Engineering OR equivalent DoW/Military training

Clearance: Top Secret/ SCI

Certifications: Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP certification.

Experience: 7-10 Years

  • Experienced in database administration, tuning, and security of large-scale, mission-critical databases.
  • Has expertise in backup and recovery strategies, log analysis, user account management, and incident response.
  • Proficient in database management systems, scripting, and automation tools.
  • Has strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with other technical staff in a high-security, high-availability setting.
