Your Mission

As a Senior Database Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of complex database systems that drive mission success. You’ll oversee the architecture, implementation, and performance of data solutions—ensuring security, efficiency, and scalability across the enterprise.
You Will Excel In This Role If You Are:

  • Skilled in both relational and object-oriented database design
  • Confident leading database development efforts across multiple environments
  • Experienced in balancing performance, scalability, and security in large-scale systems
A Day In The Life Consists Of:
  • Leading database design, development, and implementation across multiple projects
  • Directing the creation of database parser and loading software
  • Designing and optimizing complex database structures that align with system architecture
  • Managing data flow, storage, retrieval, and analysis to support mission-critical operations
  • Directing the translation of requirements into database schemas using scripts, queries, and macros
  • Overseeing the development of cloud-based database systems using Open Database Connectivity
  • Guiding performance tuning, version control, and configuration management best practices
  • Evaluating and directing improvements to database processes, storage efficiency, and reliability
Must Haves:
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Ten (10) years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) additional years of DBE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree

  • Advanced experience with cloud-based and distributed database environments
