About this Role - Proposal Coordinator
We are looking for a talented Proposal Coordinator who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for the production of assigned technical proposals and presentations.
What You'll Do
- Work with technical operations team to establish schedule and content requirements for proposal
- Compile materials to ensure requirements are met
- Proofread and edit proposal text written by project team and technical experts
- Write text such as introduction, qualifications, etc.
- Format documents according to corporate standards
- Coordinate final production, including shipping or electronic submittal as required
- Development of assigned technical qualifications which may include:
- Work with technical operations team to develop, update and maintain capability and experience content
- Proofreading and editing text written by project team and technical experts
- Writing text such as introduction, qualifications, etc.
- Research and writing for internal marketing publications
- Support of sales and business development team for Quanta and all operating units
What You'll Bring
- Computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel are required. Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, PhotoShop and other software programs preferred. Experience MS Access database development a plus.
- Excellent writing and editing skills are critical. Requires excellent command of English grammar, spelling and composition
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs
- Proven communication, organizational and persuasive interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to understand and communicate both technical and strategic messages
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related major.
- 1-3 years of experience with an engineering or construction firm or in a similar technical/marketing environment, or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience
