What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Database Developer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Database Developer, you need expertise in database design, SQL programming, and data modeling, typically backed by a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with relational database management systems (such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL), ETL tools, and relevant certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate are commonly required.
