  • ER Studio and Data Modeling expertise, Delivery of Data products leveraging Databricks on AWS, Strong Data modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3nF, Dimensional) at both enterprise and data product level.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Apply ER Studio and Data Modeling expertise to a Data Engineering team dedicated to the design and development, and delivery of Data products leveraging Databricks on AWS.
  • Work with Business Architects, Solution Architects, and Data Stewards to capture business requirements in a Conceptual and Logical Data Model.
  • Contribute to ongoing updates to data modeling standards and guidelines.
  • Evaluate physical data models to ensure they align with the corresponding logical data models.
  • Create notebooks in Databricks in support of development activities (using Spark SQL, PySpark).
  • Support enterprise data catalog setup and enrichment. 
Skills Needed:
  • Data management background with hands-on work experience in supporting teams that are building and testing data pipelines.
  • 4+ years of hands-on data modeling experience with ER Studio.
  • Hands-on strong Data modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3nF, Dimensional) at both enterprise and data product level.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Good Databricks skills and understanding of Medallion Architecture.
  • Working knowledge of Unity Catalog.
  • Experience in the financial sector with Market securities reference data and fixed income such as Treasuries.
  • Working knowledge of traditional DBMS platforms like Oracle and Cloud DBMS like Redshift and Databricks.
